FAQ's

How much does it cost?

We have a solution for every goal and the package you choose will depend on how much you want from us. We like to take into consideration how much time you have, how much extra support and assistance you need and your budget to give you the best value package possible.

To know which package is going to be best for you, book a one-on-one, no-obligation consult so we can have a good chat about how we can help you reach your goals

Where do you do your PT, Bootcamp, Coaching?

Thousand Reasons is based in the Mundaring area. Our PT is done at Club Sierra and requires a current membership or casual pass for entry (not included in PT price).

Bootcamp is held at Treetops Montessori School at 12 Beenong Rd Darlington. This is an outdoor setting with an undercover area, however, this is subject to change, depending on the weather.

Coaching can be done in the privacy of your own home but is mostly done over the phone on an ongoing basis.

I have a lot of injuries, is there anything you can do for me?

Of course! We can work around any injury, however, some injuries are more difficult to adapt in a group setting than others. If you have significant or multiple injuries we would recommend that you opt for one-on-one Personal Training, as this is the best way to ensure you won’t aggravate your injuries further.

It also gives us an opportunity to strengthen the muscles to support the injury using gym equipment that is best suited. We are also happy to work in conjunction with your physiotherapist to make sure you’re getting the best results from both.

I have a lot of weight to lose and I’ve never exercised before, can you help without killing me?

Everyone starts in a different place, with different experiences. We do our best to push you just the right amount so that you do more than you would on your own but not so much that you are in pain for a week afterward! A little post-exercise soreness is normal for a day or two after your workout and will happen more when you begin training or start a new program with exercises you aren’t yet used to.

For beginners, it may be best to start slowly to prepare your body for exercise, rather than just jumping in. On the other hand, some people prefer to push through the initial discomfort to get the ball rolling, which is fine too!

We will also take into consideration any medical conditions that may mean going a bit slower to start off with.

Will you help me with my diet?

Personal Trainers are not qualified to prescribe our client's diets without further education in nutrition or dietetics, however, with almost a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry and a lifetime of eating healthily, we can certainly give you plenty of healthier options and point you in the right direction when it comes to choosing the foods that would best suit your needs.

We have some sample meal plans that can be adapted to your needs, but if you want specific dieting advice we would always recommend speaking to a dietician or nutritionist, which we can refer you to when necessary.

Do I have to have a gym membership to train with you?

Only for Personal + Small-Group Training. All PT is done a Club Sierra in Mundaring and you must have a current membership to do training. This is a separate cost to PT and prices vary depending on the type of membership you choose.

What’s the secret to eternal life?

Just kidding! I don’t know the answer to this… but if I did, my best guess would definitely be ‘Move well, eat well, think well, and enjoy every moment!’
